The second acquisition of Ararat during the summer transfer window is 22-year-old midfielder Erik Vardanyan.

The player signed a contract with Ararat in the summer of last year, having moved from Urartu. After adding the experience of playing in the Premier League last season with Shirak, Vardanyan moves to Ararat.

"I am very happy that I got the opportunity to play in the Ararat. I hope that together with our teammates we will be able to meet the expectations of the club and the fans. For my part, I will also do everything to be useful to the team. I believe that we can achieve good results, said Erik Vardanyan.

Erik Vardanyan is a pupil of the youth school of FC Mika, he also played in the Urartu team, taking part in three matches of the Premier League. He made 17 appearances for Shirak last season. Vardanyan also played in the Armenian National U21 team.
