46-year-old specialist Aram Voskanyan has been appointed head coach of Ararat.
Aram Voskanyan has a rich football career, he played in a number of Armenian and foreign clubs. From 1995 to 1998 he played for Ararat, scoring 30 goals in 81 matches.
As a head coach, he worked in Mika, Banants, Alashkert, in the Armenian national team under 19, in the Kazakh club Atyrau.
"I accepted Ararat's offer with great responsibility, knowing what a reputation the club has - an army of devoted fans both in Armenia and around the world.
I played for Ararat for about four years, where I received a basic football education in adult football. Mr. Gharabaghtsyan and I toured the base today... it's an excellent base, there are all the conditions to show a good result,” Aram Voskanyan said in his first interview as head coach of Ararat.
Together with Aram Voskanyan, assistants Manuk Sargsyan, Hayk Voskanyan and goalkeeping coach Tigran Aslanyan joined the club.
