36-year-old specialist works in Yerevan Ararat in 2017. Torosyan was the assistant of Arkady Andriasyan in that season. In 2019, he headed "Ararat-2". With the 2020/21 season, Vardan Bichakhchyan was included in the coaching staff.

In 2020, the UEFA Pro coaching license was issued.

In the coaching staff of Edgar Torosyan are the former players of Ararat Rafael Safaryan and Alexander Petrosyan. The goalkeeper coach is Edik Yeritsyan.
