Alexander Petrosyan has a rich football career. He played in a number of Armenian clubs, for many years he defended the colors of Ararat.
Petrosyan has been invited several times to the Armenian U19 և U21 national teams.
He finished his football career in 2018. In 2019, he started his coaching career and returned to his native Ararat.
Since 2020, Alexander Petrosyan has been included in the coaching staff of Ararat-2, where he works together with Razmik Grigoryan and Rafael Safaryan, who also played in Ararat.
