Official Announcement

FC Ararat announces that it intends to appeal to the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) and, if necessary, to the FIFA Referees’ Committee regarding a controversial incident that occurred during the 25th round match of the Fastex Premier League between FC Ararat and FC Shirak on April 4.

Specifically, the club refers to an incident in the 29th minute of the match, during which, according to the club’s assessment, a penalty kick should have been awarded in favor of FC Ararat, but the referee did not make such a decision.

FC Ararat emphasizes the importance of fair competition and transparency in refereeing decisions, believing that a thorough review and proper evaluation of such cases will contribute to improving the quality of officiating and strengthening public confidence in the league.

In addition, the club requests that the relevant bodies investigate the possibility of match-fixing or any actions that could have compromised the integrity of the game.

The club will include the relevant video footage and official justifications in its appeal, requesting the initiation of formal proceedings and a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
